What a score can and cannot do
Guṇa milāna creates a structured comparison through named components. The aggregate may be useful as a first orientation, but the same total can be composed from very different strengths and weaknesses.
An explainable suite therefore shows the components rather than treating the final number as an oracle.
The two complete charts
Relationship analysis also belongs to the natal structures of both people: emotional patterns, partnership houses, relevant lords, Venus, Jupiter, Moon, Mars, divisional confirmation and the wider condition of each horoscope.
One chart should not disappear inside the other. Each person brings a full life, not merely a role in a matching calculation.
Doṣa with conditions and cancellations
Named doṣas require their ingredients, severity conditions and cancellation logic to remain visible. A red warning without context can create fear disproportionate to the actual evidence.
Grahvani’s approach is to make the rule inspectable and keep it within the hierarchy of the complete comparison.
Timing the relationship
A relationship does not exist outside time. Individual daśā and transit contexts may describe whether partnership themes are supported, strained, delayed or transformed during a given period.
Timing cannot repair incompatibility by decree, but it can help a practitioner distinguish a structural concern from a temporary season.
The human boundary
No chart comparison establishes consent, safety, emotional maturity or the willingness to do relational work. Astrology must not be used to coerce a marriage or to overrule the lived evidence of either person.
The strongest compatibility suite is therefore both comprehensive and humble: show more evidence, explain it better and preserve human autonomy.
THE GRAHVANI PRINCIPLEA compatibility score can summarise one traditional layer. It cannot describe the whole relationship, establish consent or replace the evidence inside two complete charts.
